Does anyone know of any exhaust headers from an ex race car or FHC Tasmin running a Cosworth Bob engine?

Just casting the net before I go down the route of having some made.

Many thanks

depends what you are hoping to achieve with fancy exhaust manifolds on the ole Cosworth V6 nerd

As the standard manifolds aren't that bad for flow apparently, says the person with approx. 24inch primary length manifolds on a BOA wobble

Is there enough room to have the manifolds go down and out, or will they need to come forward and out of the engine bay?

Original manifolds are too big.

Not bothered whether they exit to the rear or the front.

So long as they fit. Ex-racing is favoured as Tasmin’s had BOB engines fitted in their racers.

Thanks

are the BOA exhaust ports the same as the BOB?

If yes, then I have a pair of forward facing manifolds from my TVR S1 which had the BOA in it.

The ports may be, but the flanges are different stud pattern between them.

4 fasteners per port on the BOB vs 2 per port on the BOA I think

It's two studs per port and a different stud pattern. The studs are also closer together slightly. I've done castings with a downward exit by the front cylinders but they're a pita to finish off and nowhere as pretty as tubulers. A tube slots into the front of the casting and exits under the enngine.

Looks like you may need to go with a bespoke made pair.
