Apologies for the delay in replying....

No problem at all removing the old ones....there weren't any! The sills and a couple of other bits had been resprayed to remove stone chips etc so not an issue! As for getting them straight...I'm one those annoying people who can spot a picture that is out of 'true' by about a 10th of a millimetre from a mile away ;-)

Your Indicators are probably, like mine,straight out of a later rover SD1,as is the whole steering column assembly. I have recently changed mine ('88 390SE) for one obtained from the breakers yard for the paltry sum of 15 British pounds!
