Hi all, any recommendations for a remap in the M4 corridor area? Google throws up a load of options so any personal experiences would be good to know about. Ta

I've used Indigo-GT in Ystrad Mynach for many years and for a number of different cars. Good bunch of lads that know their stuff.

Great thanks. I see they 'stock' APR who are well regarded for my particular car.

Where did you get it done?

I've got a superb 220ps DSG, and can't decide where to go. Previously always been to Shark, but they folded and Ben went to racing line I believe. Also used a local van and laptop tuner with Quantum (not much of a gain tbh), and wary of any Celtic maps. Closest to me are SCM in Cross Hands, who can do APR or own custom, or Got Boost - Revo / Quantum. I'd go for Revo or APR but at £700+ it's not worth it, hence looking at alternatives. I used to live in Ystrad Mynach (97 - 2014) and never heard of Indigo?

Anyway, any recommendations for VAG specialists gratefully received.

FYI - Indigo-GT moved to Ystrad Mynach arounf 2017. Prior to that they were in Tredegar and before that, Merthyr.

I haven't had it done yet. I'm torn between SCM and HEX8 in Swansea. Both seem to know their stuff.

HEX8 are VAG specialists.

There is a place I've seen on Facebook called Jorvik tuning, I know a few people that are pleased with the results.

I've just had a long chat with Matt at Hex8, I think I know where I'd spend my money (since Ben and Shark have folded). Happy to share thoughts in a PM if you think useful.

Yes please, I'd appreciate that.

I personally wouldn't chase the cheapest map either, worth travelling for quality.

The risk with Superchips is they folded, and got bought by new owners. I would be nervous about using them until it's clear that the product and service is unchanged.

Did you get it done? I'm still procrastinating, I blew my original budget on a set of Konis for my Superb, which probably makes it quicker across country in the real world.

No not yet, it's on the list but realistically I'll need an uprated clutch too so a £500 job becomes a £1250 job all of a sudden.

Then I've got to think about uprated ARBs, springs and dampers. Decisions, decisions.

I replaced my dampers on my Superb with Koni Special Actives, it's actually fun to drive now!

Bit late to the thread

Avoid Indigo-GR like the plague. Some real bad stories of them messing up an Evo

I’d recommend Performance Engineering in Cardiff, Nate knows his stuff
