The BBC forecast is currently stating we'll sunny spells and rain showers with 7-9 degrees. Fingers are crossed they are correct, as it seems a long way off compared to what is out the window at the moment xmaswink

That's just on Sunday. It's what happens over the next 3 days that will be crucial.

Snow is one thing but tbh I would be much more concerned about ice.
If the former turns to rain, there is a very real chance of the latter forming overnight.

I'm surprised that nobody else has commented: or has everyone assumed it will be cancelled and rescheduled?

Yes indeed, this is true smile
I was to leave the final decision until tomorrow, but forecasts have changed since yesterday.

I have a new provisional date with the pub, which should be confirmed tomorrow smile

***RUN POSTPONED - Please Read***

Morning everyone,

The Beast from the East has defeated us! I am sorry to say I am postponing the Early Spring Run.
The new date is provisionally Sunday 18th March. I should hear definite confirmation from the manager tomorrow, when I will of course update this post again.

The aim of this update is to inform everyone there will be No Run THIS Sunday.

I have kept my original post's information intact as, dates aside, all the information is the same.
Once the new date is confirmed, those already with a Lunch pre-order will have first refusal of their original booking smile

I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but everyone's safety is a top priority.

Hopefully see you soon.

Seems like a sensible decision.... also it means I can finally attend for the first time as I'm not working that weekend!

Our new meeting time at Bury St Edmunds will be 9:30am and a for 10am departure.

Also, we will reach the pub a little earlier, at 12 noon and most likely leave a little earlier, at around 2pm. I have edited my original post below to reflect these changes.

Please could I have any new or amended Lunch pre-orders by Saturday 10th March. Thank you.
