Good morning everyone!

I am pleased announce another regular Event returns for 2019; the Rolling Road Day, will take place on Saturday 13th April.

MEET
We'll be meeting at the venue of our wonderful host, CAT Automotive in Norwich, on the Saturday 13th April where we'll be running from 8:30am until late afternoon.
CAT Automotive Location MAP HERE

PHer fasteddys has once again been kind enough to organise the day which costs £48 (inc. VAT) for Two Runs. Air/Fuel Ratio is monitored and you will receive a print out of your best run.

CAT Automotive, formerly branded Clive Atthowe Tuning, have a rolling road suitable for FWD, RWD and 4WD cars, but I'm sorry to say bikes cannot run.
Automatic transmissioned cars have run in previous years, but occasionally these can be a little troublesome to gain accurate results.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, or if you have specific queries about your car running, please contact CAT Automotive on 01603 702400.

Once you've committed to the list, you arrive and sign on/pay on the day and you'll then be given a number in line. I'm sorry, but you won't be able to pre book a time.
In the past we've had the occasional person who needs to get away at a certain time. This has been accommodated with agreement with everyone else. It's worked fine in previous years, so I am sure if you are in such a position, we can arrange something smile

To help speed up sign on, you can fill in CAT Automotive's online disclaimer form in advance rather than on the day. You can FIND IT HERE

I am also pleased to announce that fasteddys and Rebecca will again be offering hot and cold snacks and drinks (all for reasonable prices wink ).

Before and after your runs feel free to hang around, have a chat and spectate your fellow members' car's runs.

So all you need to do now is get your name down on the list here.

I'm in! After only getting 170 odd hp a couple of years ago it’d be nice to see if the maintenance in the meantime has done the trick! (Then maybe a baseline for a remap at some point..)

Would love to come along to this. Thoroughly enjoyed the last one. But I am working in Ipswich in the morning, I know we cannot specify a time but is there any way I can be one of the last?

While I wouldn't be a problem to ensure you go last once you arrive, I would ask what sort of time you would expect to reach us.
We have been known to finish earlier if everyone who is present and has paid has run their car smile

Hi Nick,
I previous years with around 20 cars we have finished mid afternoon around 3.30-4. With the current amount of cars, I would expect to finish around 2-2.30pm so If you were to get there by 2-2.30 you will be fine. Get your name down and do the registration form mate

Cheers
Eddy

Thanks gents. I would be there by no later than 1.30pm. Will most likely be earlier than that, just need to try and slope out of work early. I managed to get there at 12.30 last time so will put my name down!

Hi Ash,

I am sure a VX220 won't be a problem for them, but I would recommend giving CAT Automotive a call on on 01603 702400. They should be able to answer your concerns smile

Hi,

Only a week to go! I will be going out and buying bacon soon.

I touched base with Clive our host for the RR event and he has only had 3 forms through! Can those that have done it so far please do so in the next few days please.

Also bad news for the two R8 guys, Clive is not happy to run them as it can damage the centre diff apparently.

We need a couple more to make the event work so anyone thinking of doing this, please get on the list and your form done from the link on the opening post.
