excellent pics, ernest. i've seen most of those cars, including the enzo(one of 2 at the st. pete fos), so i didn't miss much.
this year was supposed to be a salute to british marques, so was there anything special besides the roller and the astons?

Oh Yes...

That Healey Silverstone(1 of 54 built), a Mark V Jaguar, the Mark II Jag. Quite a few other Rollers. A Morgan 3-wheeler in MINT condition. There was an old (1950's I think) MG roadster and more Triumph Spitfires than you could shake a Lucas switch at...

PS: I just tend to photograph more contemporary cars, but my video will include some of the ones that I just mentioned receiving some awards...

haha, i love most contemporary (relatively... *ahem* maserati) cars, too
speaking of maser, there was a car in the parking lot with a car cover on during and when you all went out on and came back from the cruise. i'll try and find a pic...
here we go. on the right on the first pic and behind the guy on the left of the second pic. it definitely wasn't a pantera, cause they were next to this mystery car

Dunno which car it was. Most of the stuff I saw (in between gulping Boddingtons and Bass Ale) was located on the lawn. About the only time I saw anything else was when I was tidying up the Esprit on Sunday morning, but I don't remember seeing that blue car cover...

...Having said that, quite a few people brought covers with them (considering the rather wet reputation of this particular show )

you're so right about the wet part...
i tried to peek under the cover, but i didn't want to get in trouble it has those typical 60's italian wheels, and i really, really, REALLY wanted it to be a maserati ghibli, but i never saw it without the cover

Working on it...

Probably by Friday. Video is harder than photos because of the multimedia nature of the beast...

The video from this past weekends fun can be seen at:

www.espritv8.com/multimedia/wmvmovie.htm

Be warned, it is 350Kbps, is about 30 minutes long (three sections: backroads tour, some footage of the cars, and the "major" awards ceremony). It is also about 90 megabytes in size. If you do NOT have a broadband connection, I highly recommend RIGHT CLICKING on the link provided and then using SAVE AS to save it to your PC before viewing. If you have any type of broadband (cable,DSL,etc) then the stream should play all the way through with no interruptions.

Also - it should be noted that the first part is an ode to "what happens when the wife navigates" as well as some footage of our friend's alfa romeo following us. You will also briefly see Ian's Rosso XJ220 a Pantera (as lost as we where) and some of the Central Florida sunshine. The footage of some cars (Pantera, Giant Hummer, Porsches, DB-AR1, Viper, etc) appears about the middle and then the final part is the awards ceremony where you will be able to see that lovely Healey Silverstone...

Enjoy!
