Hi all, can anyone recommend in the local area (Berkshire/ Surrey way) a good place for me to take my car to do a photo shoot for a for sale advert? Don't want the boring driveway shots and seen plenty of cars for sale with nice backdrops but no idea of a place locally I can go?

Thanks

One of my favourite locations is either along the B3348 Wellingtonia Avenue, side of the road. Second is opposite the pub The Queens Oak by the green in Finchampsead village - Church Lane with the church in view.

That's where I took my profile picture for the Lotus.

Windsor Great Park is good, the sun sets behind the trees.

I've taken a lot on this small stretch of dead end road, only a farm at the end of it an virtually no traffic - depending on the time of year the colours on the trees really create a good contrast to a well polished car; https://www.google.com/maps/place/Forest+Rd,+Wokin...

Whatever happened with your bikes Lee, was it an insurance pay out in the end? Can't imagine they were ever recovered?

Thankfully the insurance paid out but the bikes were never recovered - TBH I don't think they were ever really 'looked for'.....Bib believe they would have ended up in Eastern Europe and would have been sold into Spain/France/Italy via eBay or some other form of online sales mechanism.....

Hard to say, BIB would never really have looked anyway, other than reporting the loss that's pretty much it. The only way they may have been recovered ( and still might ) is if they were present at a location that was subsequently raided. Could still happen, but unlikely.

Find a nice entrance to a Country House, Surrey Hills with backdrop View. Epsom Downs Infield. Hogs Back Heading towards Guildford has a couple of grassy pull in areas which could be used for a couple of quick photos. Runnymede along the thames
Windsor park?

I've used the lay-by on the Hogs Back heading towards Guildford a couple of times.

Or there is the car park by the Hogs Back Cafe (that seems to have reopened lately) heading out of Guildford.

Newlands Corner car park also offers a great back-drop.

Denbies Vineyard in Dorking is useful. We did our Polestar advert shots there.
