Thank you for the information and images

How sad

The waving goodbye would have brought tears

Love the Imp, have had the pleasure of being passenger in 2 Imp rally cars, rewired one of them

At Thruxton this w/e for CSCC, thought Mr LimJam might like to see the Imp, and a larger collection of Davrians/Darrians together in one place that I ever thought possible laugh

Thanks Mr Twin Cam,

Remember i went to a Longleat Hillclimb once to see such a similar event..

That Imp in question is not my scene either Competition scene or as it was when it left the factory..

Another of my failures was my long standing HGH to which i abandoned using in favour of supporting my son in MSA kart racing.
I say failure as my eventual team mate ant i had a good time with it till a couple of outside concerns ruined our use.
I eventually bought it back a couple of time but financial matters made it a failure when i tried to supercharge it and go up to Modified Saloon class..

`
Anyhow i have asked before ..I would like to see on here anyone`s historic Vixen or Tuscan..
There is a great Vixen in Marigold on Youtube "Tomkins"(??),in HSCC productioin class racing..

How it was when i first obtained at a Sprint at Curborough

Thank you Polly..Somewhere in Belgium now after my last sale of it up in Scotland where it was unused for a couple of years.
Have tried to contact new owners but unlike WFD it has been lost for ever i assume.

I think the Stockton on Tees market square picture of WFD with spectators and the always impressive forward hinging bonnet is the best i have seen .

You do the right thing: drive to many events with that beauty and show it to the people!

Thanks for the good comments wfd 400h has been to quite a few shows this year ,including the BNG at beamish ,and always attracts a lot of attention, I’m getting a lot of enjoyment out of car, well worth the effort of the renovation,

Just to keep the thread going I have been looking for old pictures of TVR that I have noticed during my life.
Here is a Grantura with VW torsion bar suspension and MGA (?)engine that I did some work on for a friend..
I remember the ride was very harsh, even unbearable..
But the looks and condition was great..
Anyone recognise it?
The pustules were taken back in the 1980s.
