Endless hope and a banning eh?

And still staring into the black abyss of the eternal apocalypse...

Good stuff

Watching Sebring, and I have to report the TVR sticker on the Rebellion is..

A. Smaller
B. Seems to have "Racing" under the logo.

Does this have any meaning? Like the money is dwindling, and TVR Racing is now a separate entity to the building site in Wales?

Just guessing: TVR seems to focus on Le Mans, maybe that accounts for it. And as far as i know TVR Racing has always been a separate entity and Les also explained in an update that TVR Racing is not drawing resources from the development of the car (lots of other distractions apparently).

Development and actual sales of the car are mandatory if they want to go past the stickers-stage and actually want to race GT in Le Mans. So i wouldn't be concerned (at least not for that reason).

Thanks for that, but I'm not in the least bit concerned.

Looking forward to the smug 'told you' phase.

TVR Automotive, TVR Manufacturing and TVR Racing. All 3 are limited companies. Automotive and Manufacturing are linked together moneywise. TVR Racing is shown as a dormant company with 226 ordinary shares, one of which is owned by TVR Automotive. The other 12 shareholders are mainly the directors of the other two companies.
Their last 'dormant accounts' in May 2018 show they have cash at the bank in the grand sum of £1.

Which all means...what?

Why would a defunct company advertise on the side of Rebellion?

I'm obviously talking about Racing, before anyone jumps on the cheap joke.

Looks like a miserable Ford Focus.

Why does it even need an opening like that?

You’ll have to run it past the ones who see faces on the front of cars. Or just interrogate a 5 year old. hehe

Well I'm happily enjoying my 'track' T350 back in road spec for as long as it takes. Though new Exige test drives are tempting me ... lick

It doesn't have one. The light in that posts particular pic only makes it look as if it had one. But it better had one indeed, check this:

That's just awful. When the Audis, Mercs, VWs, Toyotas et al are hitting the market, Tesla will be having a very hard time.

That Tesla looks rubbish.

You’d think with electric cars the lack of engine and grille could lead to some new designs?

But I suppose there’s still requirements for pedestrian collisions and cooling etc and aerodynamics haven’t changed just because the power plants has.

And there we have it. On a new TVR thread of all threads we are now discussing an electric car that looks like it came out of a jelly mould that will be built and sold by the millions.

RIP TVR.

I wouldn't be so sure about the model Y. Very lukewarm reception to it's launch that saw Tesla's shares drop by $15 or 5% yesterday.

I was at a US dealer training session on the new Evoque this week. Cracking car, I'd love to see a BEV version at some point. And that's Tesla's problem now. All the real car company's are moving into their space and life will become increasingly difficult for them as the competition grows.

It is a bit challenged in the looks dept, but if it is cheap enough and built in volume it will probably attract those buyers who can't or don't want to pay for the electric car price premium of owning one of the current crop, now the Gvt grants are being reduced/abolished.

And here we are discussing electric cars in the absence of anything newsworthy with the new Griffith hehe
