If you remove Two of Derek’s runs of which all 3 are in the top 10 I’d go up two places from a lowly 31st to an esteemed 29th slot which is then in the top 30. rofl
That’s all thumbup

They may all well be mine and the same car but in different guises. The quickest time was in my hedonistic nitrous days. Then the 11.3 is my best yest with the turbo.
The 11.8 is a smidge behind Peter for his record for a NA Chimaera.

Barrie was at the pod yesterday trying to take my crown... came very close with a 10.86 with a very impressive launch to 60 foot in 1.457 seconds!
Close... but no cigar tongue out

I shouldn’t complain. Your tyres elevated me up 10 slots biglaugh
They were expensive slots to gain
Dif and a clutch. yikes

As you well know only the fastest time matters. Barry must be gutted biggrin
Great to see him out and I thought the numbers would tumble. Might have been a bit to warm ambient maybe Derek ?

I think its difficult to maintain the boost when chaging gear. When i used the nitrous the power was there instantly. Whats needed is a flat shift set up using the megasquirt. All gets quite chavvy then, foot flat on the accelerator, a quick stab at the clutch to change gear and massive pops and bangs on each change

It did get very warm(hot) my mate Ron looked like he had been to Saturn for the day ??
It got to the point where I was having difficulty engaging 1st gear to do the burn out, which meant sluggish gear changes.
So gave up and loaded up.
Have to say it is well worth the extra money for a private track day and very happy with a PB 😁

A PB is always a win!
I hope to be at one of these test days soon as I have the next engine in that I can trust. This £300 Land Rover rescue engine is hanging on by a thread.
