Thanks QBee! She was definitely on the one in the underground (?) car park thing, I've seen some Go-Pro footage.

That's Westferry Circus in Docklands.

We had permission to drive through Docklands, on the strict understanding that we didn't stop anywhere.
Organsing TVR owners is like herding cats... whistle
Strangely, my emails next time, asking to do a repeat, were ignored.

Puddle Dock, until the Police turned up to enjoy the scene.

The finish was at Balckheath, which I didn't know was the Sausage Meet venue for a select group of other TVR owners.
They were a bit surprised when about 60 other TVRs turned up

What’s the score with the two Griffs? Is one the red one with a colour change?

I love my TVR….

But I think I might love my Aston more…

I love them both…

One is a noisy raunchy tart that will shag your brains out… and leave you knackered and needing rest…

The other one will seduce you, turn you on slowly and make you feel special… you can take her anywhere and other men will look on with envy and desire…

In the not too distant future one will have to go… bugger bugger… so different and yet so similar… perfect pairing.. first world problem I know… if only we could stay young…

Its leased by Brunning and Price who bought the lease on 15th January 2023. https://whatpub.com/pubs/REI/177/parrot-inn-forest...

A couple of interesting facts:

In the 1970s Gary Brooker of Procul Harem (Whiter Shade of Pale - for the youngsters and for the old giffers who had forgotten) bought the pub.

A previous owner, Charles Gotto, in 2010 died in a farming accident.

Had many a good meal in there before it was bought by LE. It went a bit upmarket after that, shame as it was a good everyday pub…. Sadly nothing stays the same.

Whereabouts are you in Surrey Rev?

Would go to that pub for late night jollies back in the late 80s / early 90s. Chicken in a basket allowed them to stay open behind normal closing times.

6 miles away for me, South Holmwood. You are quite near. Shame Les hasn't invited us for dinner yet...
