Where is your old Tvr now?
Discussion
My beloved old S3 J**6 VCF in Cooper Green is still on here! The current owner got in touch via facebook a few months ago and sent me some pictures. I have a folder of old receipts somewhere at my parent's house and said I'd dig them out.
Also if he wants to sell I would have it back in a shot!

That is a Bury St. Edmunds registration, I am curious who supplied the car originally as I do not think we had an agent here unless it was John Marsh; maybe it had a personal reg. as I think if you took off a personal reg. the county where you did this gave you one of theirs instead of the original county of registration. Also if he wants to sell I would have it back in a shot!

It's a Reading reg. It was only West Suffolk until 1974
Are you sure that is correct, sure I have seen some new CF registrations here, but I will not argue as you seem very confident; all I can say is how dare they take our old registration letters away it will upset my anorak image!cjb44 said:

Thanks a lotI only had 1 x Pic but it was without the model band. I owned it from 1982 - 1984.
Do you know where it might be now ?
Thanks again for posting the pics.
Would you mind P/M me via P/H as an article about 'My old/missing TVRs' is in the pipeline and I would like the chance to share some info. Also would you be able to scan the pics and send them to me ?
Thanks
Ken

I've often wondered where my old Griff 500 is. It was P500 MAD when I owned it, but is now on P605 RBK I believe. Cooper green and magnolia with a roll bar, although I think it was modified quite a bit a couple of years after I sold it. I'd love to see a photo of it now if the owner is out there :-)
Pete
Hi Pete better late than never. Don't come on this site a lot but been trying to research something else and saw your post.Pete

My old 4.6 chim. Great car, 320 hp and my first step into TVR ownership.
Not only was this car fast but it was extremely smooth to drive. A well balanced engine, a light clutch and converted to Subaru power steering, A joy to drive .
I believe it ended up with a chap on here called Mad Mike but have never seen it since.
