Is anyone tuning for better performance on an existing tvr turbo or adding a turbocharger/supercharger system to another type of TVR that is? Edited by marksone on Saturday 30th December 21:33

Had my 3000S Turbo tuned by Adrian at Exactly TVR and got 197bhp at the wheels on a rolling road

interesting, was that with any extra boost or tuning aids ie heads, fueling, intercooler etc?

It's not my nickname ? just a common login name I use on the internet that I can remember. Chepstow was the name of the block of flats I use to live in. Just changed it from Chepstow to Ianw Edited by ianw on Thursday 4th January 15:34

It would be nice to how many of the original turbos are left? I dont know whether Mervin Larner (TVRCC register) would know? I run mine on straight unleaded with 227bhp@wheels (with intercooler and EFi on 12psi)no problems at all. What about gearboxes for yours Chepstow 4 or 5 speed?

Previously chepstow. Still got standard 4 speed box, but it needs another gear. Just had the fuel tank changed to the fuel problems on long bends. Also had a brake upgrade so I can stop it.

The T5 or T55 box is a viable option using the flowtech bellhousing. Its a very straight forward conversion, though the T55 gets trickier. If you want more info see www.come2mama.com and mail me -address at bottom of page. Long left handers where always a pain with the original tank as well as the poor brakes. Just wish they'd got the heating controls right!!

After looking at your web site I remember seeing your car at Stamford Hall. Still trying to sell it?

Yes, i re-advertised it recently but no takers. Its definately a buyers market but i can wait on it. There won't be another as they say! Not that i'd want to go through all that again!
