Gaz - no problem but I'm not sure about this. The other Esprit I know of is Rob E and as he is frankly a far better driver than me I might get shown up so excuses now. My lack of pace is not my fault due as it is to the following;

1) The weather conditions are all wrong
2) The track conditions are all wrong
3) I have never been to Vmax before, don't know much about it so I'll be better next time.
4) Did not want to show anyone up
5) What? Did you not feel the earthquake that hit just as I got on the track?!

Passenger seat available to anyone who wants it.

BTW - sorry if this is going over old ground, but do I need to bring my lid with me?

Hi,

Been a member for ages but never really posted much. I am heading up on Sunday from North London and was wondering if there are any meetings on the way up. Would be nice to have a little warm-up hoon on the way.

Cheers

Not quite correct on the basis Oggs has previously driven his Chim at VMAX.

[Lack of pace???? It's a godamn S4s!!! You are gonna upset a lot of people with a 'puny' 2.2 4 banger.

Nothing wrong with the car mate - but I have never done any proper track stuff. The thing I like about the Esprit though is that what it lacks in power compared to stuff like some of the TVR's, Lambos etc it can often compensate for with ease at the twisty bits. Of course I would not know as I never, ever break a speed limit

Oggs,

Seat is yours. Gimmie a call - 07771 523421 to arrange.

I love all these comments about freeloaders. The ride up there is free - but unless he fancies a very long walk home suitable payment for the return leg will be discussed on the day!

Forgive my stupidity but I can't find the convoy link - help please!

fair point well made Daz, sorry Adam. Oggs is a top geezer and wouldn't dream of freeloading. Just don't drive past a Kebab shop !

Not sure exactly yet, picking TRACKDEMON up first , so i guess hitting the M25/M1 junction around 6.30ish ? (as a guess, tbc)

If it works for Oggs could I join you guys oin a rolling meet there as it is only about 15 mins from my house? If not, perhaps a meet at the first services (NP?) for a easy location and the essential early morning cafine hit might be an idea.

What time do we need to be Bruntingthorpe?
