This seemed a good thread to post this on, liking the GT6 pics in particular.

My first car was a Dolly 1850HL, cost me £90 and was a bit rough around the edges but had some Sprint bits on it. The first (and only) breakdown cost me more than the price of the car for an alternator and towing off the M25.

Loved it to bits, even managed to beat my mate's "new" XR3 on an impromptu race which he wasn't best pleased about.

I don't have any photos of it so I drew it instead, I'm going to work through some of my car history to decorate the garage walls hehe

A couple of years later I also had a TR7 so I may be back at some point to post that up thumbup

Here’s the fixed version, can’t believe I missed a few vital details before - the contour line behind the rear wheel arch for instance. Several more enhancements and a major overhaul to allow for colour choices.

Many thanks... sorry for slow reply, I'd missed that the thread was updated.

The Dolly was just a proof of concept really, I'm currently working my way through several cars (and bikes) in the process of skilling up, I'm not content yet that they're "production ready" for commissions but getting there.

There's quite a bit of time involved in building the original design, about 60-65 hours deep into a Ford Escort (of all things) at the moment laugh

I'm certainly considerably quicker with old-fashioned paint and canvas.

After the Gtfire in Ireland pic, here's my Vitesse on the Three Sisters track, sprint day, a couople of years ago. A gulley on a coner was blocked, causing a wide puddle/flood! It wasn't supposed to be a water splash!
