Thermoset polyurethane plastic welding

Anyone tried this on a torn front bumper in several places, I could buy the kit to do it myself but if someone has more experience Im all ears?

(it is not the plastic than can be melted or stitched) but you can sand a V groove in it and fill with liquid plastic rod.

I have been to quite a few Accident repair centers where they swear it cant be fixed, (what they really mean is they cant be bothered)
