Soft Paint

I have and S-Type (Pacific Blue metalic)and the paint is so soft. you only have to show it a stone and it chips/scratches !!!!

I have used all the proprietry polishes but it seems to make no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to coat it with to give a little more protection?

I seem to spend all my time rubbing the paintwork with autoglym paint renovator!!

This could be a paint fault, is the car still under warranty? My dad had his entire Volvo V40 resprayed under warranty, you could mark the paint with a fingernail. They took it to an independent body shop for a written opinion and that was good enough for them to do it.

thanks for the replies, I have been in touch with jaguar and they say there is no known paint issues. will check out the independents.

Would Zaino improve things????
