One of our cars has a light grey carpet.

When we got it, there was a spillage stain on one of the carpets. I improved it with Flash and hot water but could not get it out. Our valeter has not been able to improve it. He thinks it is coffee or oil.

Are we stuck with it, or is there a nuclear option for stain removal?

Many thanks.

My Dads convertible had beige interior including carpets. They got really dirty and some marks wouldn’t shift, tried this stuff https://www.greasedlightning.co.uk/collections/int... which worked a treat and made them look brand new.

Alternatively put some warm water on the spot, cover with a good covering of bicarbonate of soda, work it in, add another layer on top without working in and leave it until dry and then vacuum off. That’s my Mums go to and it works, also great for cleaning up spilt milk or sick from car interiors too.

Dr Beckermanns is brilliant for carpet stain removal incl coffee red wine etc.

Only a couple of quid too.

I had a similar problem with a stain of unknown origin on grey carpets and got a can from Halfords, it was one of these 2 products (until I have a look in the garage at the can I can't remember which it was)

Stain had been there for years and one application and it was gone. I was quite surprised at the result TBH.

It was the second of those products, with the yellow top/brush.
