Stumped. About the size of an Alfa Spider, resembling a Porsche at the front and an XJ220 at the rear. Sort of....

Best guess is that it's a Brazilian-built low-volume sports car along the lines of a Puma GTC. It's not a Puma GTC (I think), but could almost be a facsimile of one. The usual clues are there: VW Beetle windscreen and bulkhead, body set up to take a rear engine and so on. The rear light apertures look to be designed to take eighties' GM units - again that would point to Brazil.
The above photos are of an actual Puma GTS. The mystery car does look to be a more crudely realized version of the same idea.

I'm going to stick my neck on the block and say both cars are related. The taxi at the rear is a Damascus taxi, a Dacia Nova, probably Iranian made. The wreck in the foreground started off as a Renault Floride convertible; The doors are steel and rotted. A later door handle has been botched on. Probably the striker visible on the left side can identify where it came from. You can identify lots of structural similarities around the left inner door, A-pillars and scuttle.

But none around the right door, or a pillar, as far as I can see. The leading edge of the door is the wrong shape, and the relationship between the bonnet, scuttle and windcreen are different.Risonax said:

I'll stick to my opinion of more humdrum, Beetle origins but we'll probably never know either way!
