Someone deliberately makes eBay less palatable for buyers and sellers and drives the stock price down

Much would it cost to run this sort of operation Inca place with low wages £5000 a week? Even double that their going to scam a few people along the way so should at least break even on costs.

Now what happens if they have shorted eBay stock to the value of a few million ?

Whoever or whatever is scamming ebay I can’t believe they have not got a grip on it yet. suggests it’s very organised ?.
