MOT ran out 5 years ago! Looks like it may have been having some pictures taken for something as a dealer has it for sale at the moment. My pictures above were from Manchester the other day. Ties in with the dealers location too.

It's more than 40 years old, so doesn't need one. It's spent most of its time abroad, I guess the one MoT it had was when it was used & registered in the UK.https://brianclassiccars.com/portfolio-item/1980-f...

Albert, is there any significance to the black licence plates on the older car? In the UK we can put black plates on cars over 40 years old on 1st April each year. My 1971 Triumph GT6 has them, as do a lot of much newer cars even though they are not "period correct" (a 1982 car could have them, legally, for example, although it would look rubbish).Just curious.

Cars built before 1978 are allowed with dark blue plates.

Agreed.I'm not really a fan of classic buses, trucks, tractors, military etc, but many coaches of a certain era have some lovely lines.
Also, saw this last weekend at a local show - lovely characterful old thing
Apologies for the (optional) link, but this one was doing the rounds a few years ago at £140k

That’s magnificent. Classic Cars magazine has the concours DB4 GT value at £2.25 million in their most recent issue. It’s actually on the slide… https://www.williamloughran.co.uk/aston-martin/ast...
