Love those - especially the estate. My dad had a pov spec saloon back in the day.
I was going to put it in the Classics Dwarfed By Moderns thread but because they aren't in line I feared an onslaught of, "Small, far away."

I have an '84 coupe and my other half was very nervous about driving it until I pointed out it was pretty much exactly the same footprint as the Peugeot 308 estate I had at the time. It takes a bit of getting used to the long bonnet and boot compared to modern cars.

I still don’t know why that happens!

However, I’m deleting the photos of my phone now as soon as I’ve posted them on here and that seems to have stopped them being repeated the following day. It seems to be working….

Exactly ... LHD converted to RHD (the wipers give it away) and incase you're still confused, the TR 250 was built for export to the USA whereas the UK got the TR5.

No need for quite the derision. There is history with the wipers for LHD fitted to RHD, Marina for example. And we're not all Triumph anoraks.

But thank you for your correction.

I used to think of them as quite imposing but they look like toys now

I am generally against uploading shots from shows and meets in here as they're not really 'spots', but as I randomly happened upon these I'm willing to break my rule. Beautiful cars, and while far from cheap they're not stupidly expensive. I'd have a hard time choosing between one of these and a Pagoda.
