Re: how many Elise SC JC Type 25 are on Pistonheads?

Lotus produced x 25sc JC UK cars each numbered 1-25, but.......................
Lotus also built x 25 for Europe, x 25 for the USA etc, etc.

My car is no.20 (UK) that has been claimed on this thread, it's European.

One less in the UK, mine went to France about 3 years.
Still miss it.

I spoke to Craig Moncrieff (he was at Edinburgh Lotus at the time) many years ago (2013 approx)
IIRC he said there was at least one that had been written off and there would not have been a number 13.

Posting here from the land of eagles and freedom (USA). There was actually a total of 15 Type 25's imported to North America in 2009 (12 to the US and 3 to Canada). Mine is #4 of 12.

The attention she gets is unreal, and she's already won "Best in Show" at a recent car show held at a reputable car museum. Sweetheart of a car smile
