The beauty of this forum is there are people who will 'voice' their findings and opinions, and there are others who dont give a crap and hate to see opinions voiced.

I'm not exactly known for not voicing my opinions on here................

If you have evidence of malpractice by TVR dealers I want the world to know, I want those dealers shamed, I want TVR to take action. I want you to speak up.

What I don't like is people who make inflamatory, distressing and unsubstantiated allegations and are then unable to back them up.

I respect your point here, totally valid.

But you dont see it from my angle, how can someone back up something without solid evidence? The only evidence I have is of statistical nature and technical probabilities of certain failures taking place, and then to run a broad analysis of other professionals and form a pattern. If one dealer has a specific failure every month, say. And out of all the other dealers you get say 1 of that failure once every 6 months, can you draw a conclusion up from that? Mathemetically speak, oh yes
But this still doesnt hold up, unless they are caught in the act... hard evidence is a nightmare to get hold of in this game, but TVR has done a lot of cleaning up since new ownership and it shows. If they request my data, I will be glad to pass it over for them to run their own investigations. And believe it or not, I did do just that 2 odd years ago, and nothing came of it. I have also done the same in the Mitsubishi network, nothing came of that. You just get to a point that you feel 'no one else cares' so why should I? But being a 'friendly' forum where all us owners are in the same boat, its good to talk.

First you said.

But, there have been dealers and indies out there which have taken many owners for rides by purposefully instigating engine failures for the glory of 'making money'.... no names mentioned, but I have a good list of who they are.

And then you said.

If this was the bible, I'd be very selective of my words.

But its not, so....

The point is the same, applying common sense I have deduced a list, thankfully 3 of these dealers have already left the game, but 2 have also become independants, which is why the indies point comes up.

I also believe TVR are aware of rogue dealerships... but are creating new dealerships in the same regions before they kick the rogues off their list... in business you do not take the risk of losing your potential customer base. This is just another form of common-sense.

I've pointed this out over a few posts now, the new management are playing the strict hand game, but we as the public will never know the REAL reasons behind why dealers are struck/forced off the list... again, a bit of research and analysis and you could probably draw your own conclusions. If some of these reasons were to be leaked out with backup, past customers could very well instigate court action.

In the small TVR world, its not an easy thing making PROFIT, have you seen some of these dealers annual accounts? Pay 20 quid and get hold of one... Irony of it is a mates chicken chips takeaway brings in more profit than some of these dealerships... okay, he does a good sauce, but still...
