I love manuals and I'm the only one out of my friends and family who bothers with rev matching as it adds more fun to the drive and helps keeps the car balanced when pushing on. Had a DSG Fabia vRS for a bit and I'd leave it in D to make the change to 2nd and after that I always used paddles. It was really enjoyable and the only annoying thing was the kick down that did it even in manual mode. But it did teach me to be smoother with throttle inputs and lean not to push past the click that could activate it, depending on the scenario.

I do wonder when the time will come when I'll be in DSG and never go back to a manual. I'll miss manual but I know now that DSG is pretty good.
