Very fair points, and certainly something to consider.

I think the North Weald airfield doesn't get used enough for any appreciable amount of rubber to be deposited, but it's definitely a good point about the lack of street furniture and other reference items that give a sense of speed, in fact on videos shot of the carlimits days, the cars look to be going really slow even in the dry!
