Absolutely love it so far. I had a Skoda Kodiaq before, which was great and I piled 95k on it in 3 years and it never missed a beat. This is in a different league in terms of comfort and refinement however.
Slightly regretting not getting the sunroof, retractable tow bar, 360 camera etc, but at the time when I set the lease up it started going a bit nuts. I also have to factor in the excess mileage as I tend to do a fair bit for a lease.
Still, super chuffed
Certainly makes my other half's Golf look tiny! Also pleasantly surprised by the exhaust note - for the type of car it is sounds pretty good!
A few more of mine. Coming up to the first 3mths of ownership
Loving the boost to fuel economy that the electric gives:
Just waiting for our switch to octopus to complete which will give us access to reduced cost energy pricing off peak. That coupled with volvo paying the electric for the first year (at a fixed cost means we should be quids in this year).

How have you found the difference with the Polestar package?

How have you found the difference with the Polestar package?
Compared to my old D5 it's night and day. I test drove a T8 before ordering one with the polestar kit. I'd say the gearbox is smoother and it's more responsive but it's not that much faster... it's just makes it more driveable. How have you found the difference with the Polestar package?
Having lived with the new one for 3 months it's resolved all the issues I had with my previous diesel version... it's quiet and responsive (it doesn't seem to hunt for gears compared to the D5 I had before)
The only issue I'm concerned about is my lack of self control with the loud pedal... get onto a slip road and it's so easy to get up to very fast speeds very quickly.
On a long motorway run it will return about 26mpg and that with me not hanging about, around town it's fantastic.
As I say, i'm just in the process of switching over to Octopus Agile tariff. Once it's gone through i'll order one of these:
https://ohme.odoo.com/shop/product/ohme0302gb001-o...
With Volvo paying the 1st year energy costs (at a flat fee) I thought i'd try and charge it as cheaply as possible!
You can get £50 credit if you sign up -https://share.octopus.energy/fair-kiwi-636 Also they give you £200 off the cable above.

Sounds good to me, I'll have a look to do that as well Having lived with the new one for 3 months it's resolved all the issues I had with my previous diesel version... it's quiet and responsive (it doesn't seem to hunt for gears compared to the D5 I had before)

Weird question - how do you get on with filling up with fuel? I used a pump the other day I could not get the right angle for the pump to stop shutting off! I gave up with about £30 in as there was a queue forming behind me! Haven't been to another petrol station yet to try so it could be pump related

No, but it might be worth trying another pump. I have to say it's great to be paying less than £1 a litre. It always surprises me when the pump switches off at £60 rather than £80+Weird question - how do you get on with filling up with fuel? First time on the forums although I've been lurking for a while.
2020 V60 PE delivered a few weeks ago but finally managed to get out for a short drive today after cleaning it - the Stone black is a total pain the the preverbal to keep clean but looks pretty good when clean.
Replaced a F25LCI X3 20d which is like night and day performance wise, although I really miss iDrive.

Lovely car but I'm a little biased as I have a 2019 V60 T52020 V60 PE delivered a few weeks ago but finally managed to get out for a short drive today after cleaning it - the Stone black is a total pain the the preverbal to keep clean but looks pretty good when clean.

Agree 100% and then some about iDrive which is so much easier to use while driving than a massive touch screen (which seems great in the showroom).
My "workhorse"...well I drive it to the dump, and when she is drunk, it's the wife's daily, 246k on the clock, 21 years old, still on it's first clutch (had a caravan for 7 years too so it worked hard)
been a great car, hoping to get it to at least 300k, lock down has kept it from getting to 250k over last 3/4 months
Here’s a few of our beauty....coming up to 6 years old, lovely spec (8-spd auto, adaptive cruise, active high beam, heated seats front/rear, even a button to lower rear headrests so I could clip the kids round the ears when they were younger ).
My work mileage reduced, so still only around 75k miles.....& I suspect I may hang on to this forever: added Polestar 3 years ago to stop me thinking about changing....can’t think what I would swap it for!
Taken skiing to the Alps several times (note winter wheels!):
Note Thule easy-fit chains - awesome things when needed, both fitted within about 5 minutes:
Stop-over at Reims-Gueux a couple of years back:
& finally, giving the little one a boost:
Oh yes....we even won a trip to the factory 4 years back, by quirk of ticking a competition box when I bought some winter mats online: what a crazy trip that was!
A rock-solid marvel of engineering!

Thats one for the 'cars you didn't know existed' thread! What a rare machine, looks good in red too. Is it the 2.0 Ford engine? Auto?
Thanks, this is indeed quite a rare car. Across all of the UK we only have 188 left of the 202 registered over the years. The V40 CC T5 was originally released with the 5 cyl 2.5 (254PS) engine which ended up in 70 of them. In 2015 it was replaced with the 4 cyl 2.0 (245PS) VEA which is what we have in this.
Automatic transmission was the only option but thanks to the AWD it still goes 0-60 in 5.8s.
