That's my V90 CC just collected.

Awaiting the report but the agent said there was £340 off charges, also said for the value of the car he didn't think they would chase me for and if I did to contest as companies can't be bothered. Don't know if that's for him to decide!

I was expecting a bit more potentially as it has a couple of dings, one to the front splitter that the parking sensors didn't pick up on dry stone wall section jutting out, wife scratched and dented the bumper inc and dent to the decorative exhaust surround.

Will miss the car but no point with extensions etc in the current climate done 13K mile in 21 months.
Have yuo had any update on this?

Mine's going back tomorrow, and there's a scuff on the front bumper around an inch long, plus a few on the 'bash' plate under the grill.

Had the bill through from Santander. I will contest mostly on thr grounds thr BCA agents report at the bottom said 'customer agrees with the report but couldn't sign due to COVID' that's a blatant lie.

Damage to the front bumper was 60 quid and far worse than yours. What I find a but saucy is 60 quid per heavily soiled seat back (from the kids feet). I'd wipped the interior down hovered etc. If he'd have said it would have taken me 60 seconds to apply some interior polish.

I'm not actually bothered by the amount I was expecting more but for different things.

I'll call santander and report back. I'll want to see some evidence.

Just had a missed call and an email from Santander asking me to call them

I've had the first covid extension, which means my v90 t5 CC was due back at the end of this month, I've also had the call offering a 6m "soft" extension and i just need to call and cancel when i can.

Wil report back why they were phoning today as i can't see any reason for it......

My v90 went back about 3 weeks ago now and I haven’t heard anything from Santander. I think I owe them about £160 of the termination fee and hopefully no damage charges. How long have people taken to hear once they have handed their car back?

My V90 CC went back on 07/01/21. Received the excess mileage bill the following week and debit taken around a week after the bill arriving.

Cheers. My mileage is about 7000 miles under so that’s not a worry, only damage was a tiny kerb mark on one alloy, well within the guidance so I’m not too worried about that. They quoted me £460 ish for the early termination ( not really early but during my 3 month Covid extension) and then they took an extra monthly of £315 out after it went back so I think I should owe them about £160 ish. The car went back on 15th jan and last I heard from them was on 27th after I queried why they had taken an extra monthly

The wife has crashed the V90CC into a skip I had delivered this morning.

What would everyone do? Get it repaired or leave and wait for the charge from Santander?

The issue is it’s dented behind the trim.

£450 excess if I go through insurance.

Divorce her.

I'd leave it. Will cost less than you getting it sorted. Always adopted this approach with leases. Surprised how little they charge for medium prangs.

So turns out we have a payment outstanding

Sanamder just didn't call the payment in September after the covid break!

Both of us out of work at the mo so I'm none to keen to make an extra payment.

I've had a partial payment invoice also. I need to check my records I don't think I owe them anythjng. The extension wasn't as long as first offered. I'm hoping they mis calculated. I had to call them as they'd took what I thought was the last payment then saw a pending payment on my bank account which on speaking to them was in error so I had my bank stop the payment.

Hmmm, boot lid not closing all the time on my S90.
Feels bad forcing it down, call to the dealer tomorrow morning then, but working away all week, so will be trying Stoneacre Stockton on Tees branch for a change of scenery... Hope they're better than Lincoln for service queries - or am I going to get put through to the same call centre?

I'm returning my V90 6 months early next month. It's done 1500 miles since lockdown began last March and I can't see that changing much until September, hence the early termination.

I have it booked to have 2 wheels diamond cut, but what are people opinion on this tyre 'damage'?

I have just taken it to have a new tyre fitted and was told to save my money, as the damage is tot he rim protector, not the sidewall.

I can personally see a clear line where the side wall 'becomes the rim protector'.

Thank you for any help and advice.

I wouldn’t repair the wheels or replace the tyre.

How much is the refurb costing?

£200 for 2 wheels as it needs to be diamond cut. They're pretty bad in all fairness.

Especially this one

This second extension is news to me!
Me too. Mines gone back now but with a double extensions you may be getting in second service territory....
I think the FCA said consumers needed to be given 6 months grace at the end of November. I guess this is where the 2nd 3 months comes from.

I've tried calling them, but no answer, and the form on the website looks basic

Will be intrigued if anyone else gets anywhere. Certainly the first 3 month extension was welcome. Any extensions welcome given how much the £££ of leasing has risen!

No issue with servicing for me - I've got one of the 3 year service plans.
My lease is through Volvo funded by Santander. I had the first 3 month extension (deferment) and asked about a second one. They said that they would only defer one month’s payment (£130) which would be added to the final month. I then asked about an informal extension and they said they would only do max 28 days @ £260.
Given the market at the moment I’d rather extend, otherwise I’ll be buying something.

I would definitely leave them. The charges will certainly be less than £200.

I'd be looking probably at £250-260 for the refurb and 1 part worn tyre. The rest of the car is pristine and well under mileage so it's definitely worth just risking it and accept Santander/Volvo charges?

It’s now about 6 weeks since my v90 went back and I have heard nothing at all from Santander. Is this normal?

I don’t think there would be any damage charges but I am sure I owe them about £160 for the early termination of my 3 month COVID extension. My car was about 8000 miles under my agreement when it went back. Might they have just not bothered billing me because of that?

It’s a bit odd, I thought they would have been chasing me for the cash.
