Any idea which part of the car this has fallen off from?

I know this is a long shot but I can’t get the car into the garage for a week to check.
Basically I found this behind the rear left wheel earlier today and after googling I am no further along-

Car is Volvo V50 2012. Bolts are HDW 88 I think.

Obviously don’t want to drive the car if it’s not safe…

Also to say I’ve tried my best to identify where it may be missing from but can’t see anything.

I have one, sister has one... spent far too much time under them replacing various bits but that doesn't stand out as anything V50 orientated. It's not brake or suspension related, pretty sure of that so not sure I'd bother.

I mean I do have a Skoda also- it’s just where it was positioned on the drive. Was behind the wheel of V50.

The plastic stuff- would that indicate an electrical connection- and it be more up front than I realised.

I am going to guess that, that is not likely to be a Volvo genuine part.

Reason:

Those are HT 8.8 bolts and they are tack welded onto the "link" between them.

Welding HT bolts is highly likely to completely remove the HT properties of the bolts AFAIK.

For that reason, I can't see a car manufacturer specifying that be done like that, but that doesn't mean it isn't a home bodged repair on the car.
