Excellent. Probably buy two and make a whole big one though.
Damn you Lego with your wallet emptying temptations...

As much as I loved Transformers when it came out and, obviously, Lego…..that set does nothing for me.

Which I’m quite shocked about!

The Brothers Brick posted a review today, and promptly pulled it. I expect they broke an embargo.

Luckily, nothing online can ever truly be deleted:

I hate it when they make obvious adult sets with those push tabs that destroy the box as I like to keep the box in pristine condition for future selling. I tend to slice through the glue with a sharp knife but no matter how careful you are it's not perfect. I don't understand what's wrong with the tape seals that they use so often on many other sets.

Top tip, use one of those really really tiny flathead screwdrivers

Or a butter knife.

I hate the new generation of boxes too, i think i had a moan about it in this thread a while ago.

The collectors/more adult themed sets should be proper boxes, if I'm paying a premium price I expect a decent box and not something id find around a cheap Chinese toy for the toddler.

Slice through the glue with the screwdriver, or punch out the perferations on the 'push out tabs' with it?

My son built the Home Alone house last week, as he went he put the empty bags in a box next to him. Absolutely staggering amount of plastic waste for a single set, I'm surprised more noise isn't made about it.

Why the effing jeffin won't Lego allow you to pre-order/pay for the Delorean?

Mised the first batch and have had notifications setup since. 3 times now the notifications have either come in late at night (after bed) or 4 in the morning.

Even though I check in at about 7:30 AM they're always sold out by the time I've logged in.

GRRRR!!!

Was hoping to snag one for my son's 17th next week, but looks like no chance of that frown

Ironically I ordered Red Five Helmet, Mandalorian Helmet and Lukes Landspeeder only late yesterday!
I have one available
Well, that's odd?

Following your post I decided to check lego.com shop to see if you could order and lo and behold, they are accepting backorder orders!?Couldn't do that before - so wonder if they've changed because of people like me who were fed up of missing the stock notifications?

So order duly placed and should have it early June smile

I'm reading this as EDaJ was trying to do you a favour so you could have one on your son's birthday.

I may be totally wrong though and he's a mercenary, profit-mongering scalping bd... wink
