Saw a silver RS yesterday (think Trophy but not 100%) near sherburn in elmet, north yorkshire. First one I've ever seen on the road (apart from mine!). Anyone on here by any chance? Plate began RS04
I live within 20 miles of Sherburn-in-Elmet and sadly haven't seen it... bit of a unicorn if it's Highland Grey (Renault's strange choice of name for Silver...)

I was looking at R.S's on Autotrader for 3 months before buying mine, and still have alerts turned on so I get emails of new additions. To this day I haven't seen a Silver one for sale. Shame they aren't more popular as I think they look dead classy.

Out of interest Quickmick is yours White or Red by any chance? I've only ever seen those two locally.

Mine's black Gareth, I am based nearer leeds than sherburn, just went for a run out there. I had never seen an rs on the road before, then after seeing the silver one near sherburn, i saw a titanium trophy the day after near Wakefield. Like buses...

Incidentally, I thought silver was called mercury on the pre-facelift? Has it changed to highland for the facelift versions?

I've been tracking hot hatch prices for apx a year, the recent increase has stopped me from buying one.

Criteria is 18 plate or above <10k miles, I've recorded the cheapest available. Meg options don't affect the price as much as the others. But they are definitely trending lower than anything else.

Im astonished at the Meg prices to be honest, I just want a 280, but they have been at 21k for a year now for an 18 plate. Couple of weeks ago a Volcanic orange went up for £18750 which I was tempted to pull the trigger on but it went in a day! Prices are so extortionate Im starting to look at Cupra290’s which are much more reasonable

Yes, the previous silver was Mercury. I haven’t actually parked them side by side but Highland Grey is supposedly a different colour. It does look a shade darker.

Cheers. Gareth's does look good though doesn't it. Nearly went silver myself but chickened out because i hadn't seen one in the flesh.

Well the wife took the megane to work today and she reported a few random error messages. So to prevent the inevitable I have plugged in the trustee C Tek charger..

How long should I leave it on for?

And what’s you guys who’s used the C tek chargers verdict?? No more issues?

Maybe if I do this once a month all will be well... not ideal but ok.

I just leave mine on overnight, but as long as it's completed a full charge and all 7 stages are illuminated I guess a few hours would do it? I've never gone out to check on mine whilst charging so don't know how long it takes.

Haven't had a single error since the first time I used to ctek, but early days yet

Mine takes about 3 hours to fully charge (my other car with a normal battery takes 7 hours) but with the ctek you can leave them on much longer as they maintain the battery once charged. I only use the car once every 2 weeks at the moment so i've started to charge it every 2 weeks the day before i use the car and have had no problems at all since.

Few pics of the newly wrapped Trophy, 8000km in so far and no issues as yet. Just in for a fresh set of discs on the front and pads all round but that's it.

Is there a financial incentive for having that wrap?

No, but I am also interested in this. You can buy genuine ones from Renault for the Megane 4 but I don't know how easily they can be fitted/adapted to fit the RS model.

Slightly different but I've also been meaning to ask on here if anyone knows whether this can be made to fit - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191735934582?hash=item2... I only ask as my standard gearknob creaks when I change gear with any kind of vigour, feels cheap and hollow, which is probably is.

Did it say this when you started the car on a incline? The sensor isn't very well placed and a gentle incline will trigger a alert.
