Has anyone who got one of the original G2L / ALD Automotive deals asked about extending?

What is everyone replacing theirs with in the next few months? Anyone asked about extending?

Not considered extending what numbers are you seeing, would’ve considered buying but prices are higher than when we got this deal!

Got a RAV4 on order to replace our XC60. Not sure what I'll replace the Megane with when it goes back in July. But might possible buy a second hand i3.

Anyone know if you can use an independent for a service with ALD on this deal? Can’t seem to find an answer anywhere!

Not sure - I don't think the contract is specific on it.

I rang Renault today to confirm second service costs; £307 which is about the same as the first one.

Currently weighing up whether to send back early (and not service it) or extend for another 3 months which will need a service.

Given how far £240/month goes in the current car market I'm thinking of extending to be honest!

Same here… my first service at a Renault Dealer was under £200 so will get quoted. Might see if an independent will do the oil/filter, give it a stamp and reset the service light and extend…

Any more feedback on extending, guessing a few cars on here will be due back by the summer?

Given the current state of lease 'deals' and lead times be interesting to see what others are thinking or have been quoted to extend?

I'd be happy to carry on popping and banging for another year if the numbers work biggrindriving

After toying with the idea of extending for another 3 months I have decided against it on basis of another service being needed for that short time.

I have instead today put a deposit down on an '11 plate Mégane RS. The cheap motoring continues in an RS - be interesting to see the differences between them, I've gone for a non-cup chassis as for family trips the 280 cup was just too harsh unfortunately.

I'm at 15 months and 12,000 miles. A hoot. ALD with me also, I'd love to extend a year as I don't see many good deals to replace it and I have maintenance bb

Anyone got any numbers back yet for extending this lease deal?

Mine is due to go back in Sept and I am still enjoying the Trophy far too much - can't think of anything I want to replace it with.

Snap. I wouldn't mind buying it but don't think ALD allow that?

ALD won’t let me buy mine I did ask.
Extended from end of Feb to end May but still nothing to be found at a reasonable price.
IF I was looking to pay £400-500 a month leasing, buying a brand new ST3 or similar is the way I will proceed smile

Is that at the same rate? For 3 months more. My first choice would be a 6-12 month extension. 2nd choice is to buy a used car at about £15k

Yes, 3 months at rate per day I posted previously.
Interested to see if you get offered longer?
I am looking at brand new ST3 for 7k more than your budget.
