Yeah, you do have to take the weather into account. The car arrived looking like it hadn't had a decent wash in a while. The delivery driver actually said he'd been to Sainsbury's jet wash because of the weather / roads but realistically I think it had just been sat for a long time as it has green moss type stuff in some of the gaps/seals which I didn't notice at the time. Don't get me wrong none of it is end of the world stuff, and I didn't want to say too much be wise 1) your experience may be completely different 2) if you're looking for it you may see and be unhappy about stuff you'd have otherwise just taken for granted and 3) I think you need to be fair to the dealer to rectify it. (Saying that I've still not heard anything although G2L have been prompt and responsive as they always have been so I'm sure they'll put the pressure on)

My car also had a scrape so it needs to be resolved otherwise I'd have probably just taken it on the chin to be honest. I've had a couple of new cars before and also a few second hand ones from main dealers and it's probably the worst prepared car - exterior wise - I've seen.

HOWEVER. The car is ace. So try and be excited and enjoy it mate 👍

Clarify ‘drinks’?

Oil or fuel?

My Abarth 124 only averaged 26ish, sport mode & flappy manual didn’t help.
Fuel. Compared to the 208 BPS, this thing is George Best!

300 to a tank average apparently.

For me, it was a mix of the utterly non-existent prep by Fish Brothers, the cheek that Leasehub weren't fully checking this out and the crapness of my local dealer.

I'll let you know Ren UK's feelings when they find out. I've had the car 2 weeks tomorrow btw.
The interior trim is clearly a bit crap but to be honest I've seen things like headlamps misting and rusty exhaust pipe trim on all cars. My headlamps also had minor condensation but nobody will ever notice and they work fine.

It's no excuse but to those worried you do have to remember it's a couple if hundred quid a month car which is fantastically fun to drive - there's a lot of good here.

Oh it is, proper sleeper look except for those yellow diamonds on the rear.

Low and squat. Wide look too. Cup Chassis is not as harse as the 208, and that wasn't as harsh as the Clio 200 I had new in 2010.

That's the issue for me though - they've not prepped them right because they are going straight to lease. No care and consideration. £££ isn't an issue - the terms of the lease are Brand new, pristine cars for lease. This wasn't the case with mine - and I have spent 2.5 hours on it up to now cleaning it properly and fixing an issue that should never have existed (I reckon they've robbed a part off it for another car and replaced it - incorrectly fitting it).

If this was a car purchase - They would have been told to refund me immediately. Simply no excuse for shoddiness. It's a £31k car FFS!

Looks great. Will you be happy with the car when all the bits are sorted then?

Can't disagree with that at all I agree on all fronts. I just didn't want to think of people worrying so much they stopped enjoying what is actually a great car.

1 issue to go on the B-Pillar that's been sent through to Renault for a technical fix.

It's a brilliant car and I'm already very happy with it. Just not so with Fish Bros, Leasehub, or Rightcar Grimsby.

It's a stonker of a deal!

Regarding the report comment about the b-pillar rattle, this happens occasionally on my 300 by the seat belt clip getting stuck between the shoulder bolster on the seat and the pillar trim. I just pull out around so it's over the bolster and the rattle hours away

Mine travelled 230 miles, and the muck had streamed vertically... Which is indicative of a dusty, crappy yard where it's stood for weeks/months.

I reckon mine was grabbed from the yard, taken for fuel and just driven straight here. Pretty much fully sorted though now...

Bare with Steve, he's pulling the moss off his car - takes a while.

Funnily no moss!
Taking the driver to train station he got a text to say put car through a wash, I told him we would pass on that.
Condition after 145 miles delivery not bad does need a clean but no dings or scuffs on first look.
One tiny mark on bonnet but that is noted on the yellow sheet that goes to G2L & note about general condition of car on arrival.

Car seems to be rattle free as well mentioned to driver about door pillar he had not noticed anything.
Thought exhaust at the back made a few noises but probably down to me testing race mode on way home, some crazy pops!

Sounds more promising. Getting mine Thursday. 165 miles from Swindon. Here’s hoping!
