Like the front a lot. But that kink at the rear of the door looks od and the whole rear end looks awefull IMO. They would have been better off doing something simular to the RC concept at the rear.

What a ripe off! Do they have to copy all the other sports cars on the market! And a 4 pot engine in a sports car, i bought my car for the noise and performance it made. I know for a fact that a 4 pot engine cant produce the same lovely noise a straight 6, v8 or flat 6 can. Also doesnt say whether or not it is fwd, rwd or 4wd.

I reckon all in all, that it will be a total flop.

Also, to keith2007. I have had the pleasure of driving all the Audi TT's and the 350z. My personal feeling is that the 350z is a better drivers car as it is rwd, but overall I would have the TT everyday. Its just the 350z is just so cheaply put together inside and all the silver plastic ruins what could be a great car. Also, with an engine likes it got, it should be as fast as the M3's, all in all just a little disappoint.

Peugeots certainly are striking, but for all the wrong reasons! They always make me grimace when I see one coming towards me, that. Its just a TT that's been whacked hard with the ugly stick.

I think there is a big market for cars like this. My wife drives the family car and I need a car to commute in. It needs to be fairly economical and cost less than £20K. It doesn't need a big boot as the most it ever has in it is a laptop bag.

What it does need is somewhere to put an occasional toddler or small child. I'm looking at the TT and Mini as the only cars that enable me to leave a child seat permantely in the back so I can collect my daughter from her friends house on my way home from work.

A two seater doesn't work because I would have to leave the child seat in the front all the time or detour to my house to pick it up.

What is it with Peugeot and those ridiculous over sized rears, the looks strange the back looks longer than the front....
Exactly!
I hate the back of these types of cars.(megane, focus, astra and pug!)
Surely the engineers knew from the start that the cars would feature folding hard tops, yet still struggled to come up with an decent design that makes the cars pleasing to the eye or dare I say individual.

It is almost as if they are ALL sourcing the folding hardtops from 1 company??
Pug also make the worst offender, in the shape of a 307CC (Sorry Pug owners) it looks like a giant metallic slug!
With the roof down they look like pick-ups!
I expect this concept monstrosity will follow suit.

Much like the Audi TT was.
'orrible cars.
... says the man who has a Corsa....
Does that make his opinion unvalid then? Always makes me laugh on here when people desperately look at a persons profile to try and discredit them, usually because they own the car being slated and chuck their toys out of the pram. I can't stand TT's either but thats just my humble opinion too, like anyone else.
Thankyou. It's amazing how people can look down on someone who owns a car merely because it's all they can afford. Bearing in mind I'm only 18 and only recently left college. Just because I own a Vauxhall Corsa, which in my opinion is a very reliable and handy first car which gets me from A to B, doesn't mean to say I don't have the right to have a taste in cars. Yes I drive a Corsa, but like any other 18 year old motor enthusiast I would rather drive Ferrari 575 etc. Also, if it makes a difference, my personal alternative to the Audi TT would be the Nissan 350Z. Which, "in my opinion" is a much better looking car. Enough said.
This has nothing to do with what one can afford. All I'm saying is I'm some-one who completely disagrees with your statement; having owned (owned being the keyword here) a TT, I'd say that, exactly as you've experienced with your Corsa, I found it to be a very reliable and handy first car which also took me from A to B!!! Arguably I could also say that you shouldn't knock it unless you've tried it, I mean what exactly makes them 'orrible? Their styling? Fair enough, not everyone likes the looks. But as an ownership propostion I've not enjoyed any car quite as much (yet) - so I guess that's just my humble (and oh-so-invalid) opinion... rolleyes
My opinion is based on the styling of the car. It could have a W16 engine under the bonnet I still wouldn't like the LOOK of the car. Hence "Nissan 350Z. Which, "in my opinion" is a much better looking car." The first comment on the subject "orrible car" is based on the styling. I wouldn't say the car is "orrible" if i didn't think it had good stats would I?

Too right. Why on earth did they think they could do a better job internally. 406 coupe, meet 407 coupe.

looks like a shabby me too imitation of a TT, just doesn't look right, if it ever makes production it'l loose the carbon an other expensive lightweight bits so thats 1400kg, what they need is another car in the spirit of the original 406 coupe. Sadly this is just a clone of a car that was exciting an fresh looking years ago, i'd say boat well an truely missed!

I still don't like the rotten-tooth look of the front grill. What were they thinking when they did that?
