I saw my 1st one today and must say I quite liked it.It looked a lot better in the flesh than in the pictures I've seen. Also noticed that lots of small stones get trapped in the wheel arch extensions which looked impossible to get out.
I also saw one for the first time today out on the road going in the opposite direction, I thought that it looked really good and instantly recognisable. I really liked the look of it. Hi there
I have a GP3 on it’s way and was wondering if anyone had switched out the hankook tyres for Michelin? How do the hankooks fair with water and wet days? Reason I ask is because I want to use it beyond the track. Wife will also drive it. Was considering Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Many thanks in advance.

In the nicest possible way you are spending 35k on a track car, dig a bit deeper and just buy more wheels and rubber, Why comprise for the sake of another £1200-ish ?I have a GP3 on it’s way and was wondering if anyone had switched out the hankook tyres for Michelin? I’m constantly confused why people would buy a performance car and run the same rubber for 3 or more years, in all weather conditions, it’s like eating every meal with one spork, I’m sure it will do a job but why would you?
I spent 17.5k on a supercharged MCS, factory build July 05, within 3 years it had 280bhp and 3 sets of wheels, with track/fast road/snow-winter tyres, having built it I wanted to use all the power, all of the time, ie during every season and track days.
Your rubber will last much better When designed for the job, and the wheels also have a reasonable second hand value, Even the dealer will hold winter tyres for you if you live in a flat. So no real reason not to have more than one pair of shoes.
Nb my JCW R59, and F56 SD also both have 2 sets of rubber,

These are due in the UK in the next 2 weeks, i am going to go with the C5 compound as my track tyre. I think the C3 compound may overheat a bit early for my needs.

Thanks for the response and comments l. I have others cars for pure track days running Cup2s. Why get another wheelset when you can have another car ;-). My question was how well do the hankooks deal with general day to day driving and in the wet.
Reason I ask is because I can’t seem to find any reviews on the Ventus S1 Evo Z as it’s a GP specific tyre. Worst case I can just decide when it arrives and then test them for myself but was keen to get some views from existing owners. Henry Catchpole has got his hands on one for Carfection

Second review I've seen where the automatic transmission is touted as a road safety feature, given the way it drives.
