Morning all, it's raining a little over here at the moment, but I've been on the field in the wet before and it wasn't a problem. I ought to mention that mobile reception in Ashby Folville is very patchy (worth remembering if you're planning to contact each other when your there) mine rarely works on the cricket field. We're leaving here at 18.00, hopefully my S, a red Corevtte and a green Alpine. See you there! Dave

Excellent, look forward to that. I work in Nottingham and the drive was actually quite dry, so we may be lucky!

Seeing as I started the thread I suppose I'd better try and get there.

Will depend on time I leave work and level of energy I have once home (just had approx 12 hrs sleep over 3 nights in Spain with plenty of and didn't get home until midnight)

Sorry you couldn't make it Dale - I only just got to Ashby in time to get on the cricket pitch myself (arrived 7.15ish). Unfortunately I left home in a rush and forgot to take my camera!

It was good to meet a few of you there and see an amazing collection of cars & bikes.

I will not be at the next one as I'll be packing the car ready to head to Le Mans the next day, but I'll be there in July.

You lucky bleeders, that looked very good fun. Still working here gone 11pm, (I deserve some time off)

I hope everyone made it home safe, with no speeding etc?

Shame I couldnt go, theres some lovely classics, and vintage machinery there. I would have bored the owners senseless, talking dynometers and why we should appreciate the structure of center laced wire wheels!!

I have been going for the last couple of years. Tonight was definatly the busiest it has ever been in May. Last year the cricket pitch wasnt even filled. Next month is likey to be very busy, would try to get there as early as possible to avoid having to park in the bumpy feild opposite.

Hi Mark, glad you all made it, it was a good night for this time of year but as Adam said, it does get busier! I saw some of your cars and hing around that area for a while but only managed to say hello to a couple of you. We were on the opposite side of the cricket crease and were there by about 18.15. I had a De Tomaso Pantera GTS behind me, a 390 Wedge in front and the Vette (bright red) and Alpine next to me. We were quite close to an immaculate yellow 3000M (Supaspark's?). There were some amazing vehicles there, something for everyone. I hope you all enjoyed it! Dave
