Makes a mockery of the game. The fundamental problem of modern rugby IMHO.
Absolutely. They're constantly changing the laws to protect the players (sometimes to the detriment of the game), but the players are constantly getting bigger and more powerful as they only have to do 50mins of workEdited by MontyPythonX on Saturday 15th March 21:22

Impressive snooze day performance by the French there, but something really needs to be done about the 7/1 bench nonsense. It isn’t healthy for players or RUs without the depth of the larger nations. Seems very unfair.
Just set a limit that the bench can only be 5/3 split max768 said:
Both those pics came onto the big screens in the stadium. I do feel for Adam Jones, he was a great player and a nice bloke, he just looks do deflated and must be questioning why he's still hanging about the Wales squad? As an Englishman living in Wales, I do love an England win for bragging rights in work. However, I also like a bit of competition and that was anything but!! I don't think I have the heart to even mention it?
Oh, and there was so many Welsh supporters leaving the stadium at around 50-60 mins, I've never seen that before. It was almost like England were playing at home the singing of Sweet Chariot absolutely drowned out the Welsh supporters by that point.

Well done England, extremely efficient today. And I take my hat off to them for their relentless approach. As it should be.
And to the WRU, those debt repayments and wars with the professional sides don't seem worth it anymore, do they? Tonight we witnessed the culmination of 20 years of mismanagement.

Today hasn’t made Lions selection for #10 any easier. Crawley and Prendergast haven’t been great, Finn Russell has made some of his errors today. Fin Smith had a good few games but not much experience at top level as yet. Marcus Smith too hard to form a team around, George Ford not much game time, O Farrell too injured.
Overall probably Finn Russell starts but only because of his experience and the backs will be all Irish and Scottish so he’ll be playing with a few mates.

One sided. Mainly because of the stark difference in depth between teams.
Refs had a crap game too. There, had to get that off my chest!
First point - agreed, France have two teams they can field, Scotland have one, and played pretty well.Refs had a crap game too. There, had to get that off my chest!

Second point - agreed, and not for the first time this season Scotland have not had the rub of the green.
