One should remember as well that Johan actually drives his Esprit to the Bonneville event.

He's tried to keep the car as streetable as possible...I've driven behind it, and it is truly glorious.

If one weren't so inclined to maintain the car's daily driver status, it would be easier to do.

The engine is certainly up to it (with mods, of course. Johna runs both nitrous and propane, in additon to several other mods he's done.)

Monday evenings, repeated tuesday evening, channel 5. Looks like its a long term project for them - this week's show had no mention of the esprit, so they are obviously still in progress of getting it fixed up..
