Similar. Accepted into the venue, but not the grid I think.
Maybe it's the car?

They are still sending emails inviting attendees, so I doubt that you've been turned away. Did you receive an attachment with your VRN? If so, you're in and on the grid.

Hmmmmm, interesting. I have an email with an attachment, so I'm def in, but my attachment says "site access" and my brother's says "grid"

Not that it matters at all either way smile

I think the attachment is your unique entry form in to the event to display your vehicle.

It is - I don't think that an attachment is sent for general access. My email points to an invitation to the 'Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit'. If it doesn't say that they you're not in.

The attachment car park pass should say "GRID" or "SITE" ... self explanatory ... SITE means not grid but general paddock / track parking...

Bottom line people, for us folks that have done a few of these before, normally there are different attachments sent out to people.

1/ "Site Access" this can mean various things, but in general it means you will be directed to park somewhere on track.

2/ "Paddock" Self explanatory.

3/ "Grid" Parking in front of the Grandstands and Control car Cafe.

Expect to do a lot of walking smile

Also remember the Marshals are volunteers who have got up bloody early to try and accommodate us, they will want to get you parked up as quick as possible, so give them a smile and a thank you. smile

I’ve just been accepted - my pass says “site” so I guess I’ll be kicking about somewhere on the track.

Look forward to seeing some of the other metal on display!
