Anything but the car is likely to be unusual.
More left field than Any wheels but four.
Yep, I took my Unimog one year to that one.

I really should read the newsletters more!
I’ve never bothered with the breakfast clubs before so never paid any attention to them.
If you mean the GRRC newsletters, the Breakfast Clubs aren't normally mentioned. Breakfast Clubs are organised by the motor circuit, not the GRRC. The exception is the "GRRC-only" meeting held for the first time last year which is being repeated this year (it's probably best to think of that one as a GRRC event rather than a breakfast club).

There's been some confusion (probably mostly caused by me) so let's start again smile

Here are the public Breakfast Club dates and themes for 2022:

At muchly for the clarification Ian and apologies for being a bit of a muppet. Now I’m no longer based much around Pompey, I only tend to rock up for the MM, Friday Revival and freebie FOS day.

The GRRC member's only Breakfast Club is scheduled for the 17th July 2022.

Registration is currently not open, and will not be via a public page on the website.

But be aware they’ve changed the ticketing to 1 per person and not 1 per 2 like previous.

Much as I'd like to go, if I can't take a '+1', I'm not going. I hope they're only doing this to keep the numbers down for Supercar Sunday, but we'll see.....

According to their Facebook page them's the rules from now on.

Its seems a bit odd to me. I mean sure they'll get more accounts getting set up that they can then market to but I am guessing that this is being done to control numbers. But it will mean more accounts, which means more solo tickets, which means more cars coming to the car parks. If they are also trying to cure disruption to local area, I am not sure that's going to help.

However, I would agree that something needed to be done especially at Supercar. The crowds outside the main gate watching on while mostly 'minor' Supercars did burnouts were getting out of control and was going to end in trouble at some point. But on the flipside of that, how are they going to control people just parking up and walking down to look at the cars as they go in? It seems to me there is going to have to be a major increase in logistics & ticket management on the day.

Still, got my pass so I will be there.

Ordered mine just now.

To be honest if I was to take someone else, they would have had to order their own ticket under my way of thinking anyway.

But I’m glad I’ve got a ticket & will be there!

Plan is to arrive really early & stay till closer to 1pm.

Same even if you are part of the display now, from the FAQ's

Each site or grid access pass grants access to the event for 1x adult (over 18). If you wish to bring additional guests with you they will need to sign up for visitor tickets separately.

I have my ticket for the first event but had completely missed the rule change about one ticket per person.
Thanks for the warning - will get my wife to get her own

I wouldn’t be later than 8 it’s usually the busiest event.

Certainly one to get to early, I've had my application turned down for Rule Britannia, surprising as I'm reasonably sure that there won't be another vehicle of the same configuration there (though plenty of the same base type) , however it is the first time ever so no complaints for me, you can't get into every event.

There are reports on another forum that rejections for Rule Britannia have been sent in error, it might be worth emailing to check.

I did see a few comments on the GRRC FB page with people being surprised that they had been rejected, thanks for the info.
