SA Tax For Non Residents

I am looking for advice on any tax that may be payable on an inherited property in SA by a UK resident.

At present my parents-in-law are looking at equity release in SA but with interest rates and the fact that we are nicer than the banks should there be a future problem we are thinking of giving them money instead. This would effectively be to secure the property instead of the bank at time of death, (morbid I know but it was their idea).

My question is what are the inheritance tax, transfer duty and CGT liabilities on inheritance of SA property by a non SA resident?
