Interesting thread guys.
We have a 2003 GT, Berlina black with full red interior.
Owned it from new , now at 68k with fsh
It’s a garage Queen in mint condition and totally original as the day she was made.
Last Friday an old lady pulled out into the side of her, hitting our baby midship

Local repair guy we know and trust thinks 6k to repair, so I guess we are going to have a fight with insurers wanting to write her off, we just want her back on the road.
Any thoughts on value ?

Where does he get 6k from? Have you asked for a quote/breakdown from him yet?
Looking at it, I can see door, rear 3/4 panel, sill, not too sure about underneath, plus paint the full side. I can't see 6k for that type of repair. 2-3k maybe.

We need to get in on the ramps, possible structural cull and door pillar damage, , paintwork inside the cil has cracked.
He’s a good guy and will get it n the ramps in a day or so to formalise a proper quote.

That’s a real shame. I hope it’s not a write off and also not as had as it looks frown
