Looks like there's a new patent filing for the next (11G) Civic - It's a little toned down, perhaps even boring after the 10G (IMO!)

Looks like a reveal is due soon (17th Nov - Next Tuesday) - A bit more detail in this video.
As expected from the patent images, It's looking a bit more boring than the 10G - Rather more generic Saloon style; I'm not sure if the UK would see the next-gen Saloon as they went off sale quite early in the UK.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I almost bought a 10g saloon (yes, I was the one 
) but it only came with the 1.0 litre engine, the 1.5 was not available in the saloon.
The rear looks very Tesla if I am not mistaken.
These pictures look to be of the hatchback version. If so, then the tailgate seems to have a more gradual slope...making the hatchback look more like the 10g saloon anyway. It makes me wonder whether there will even be a separate saloon version. Honda could probably save a lot of cost by just having the hatchback version.
I think it will come to the UK for sure, but it will be made in Japan and shipped from there (Swindon is closing). And I would expect only two powertrains one of which will be Type-R. I am pretty sure that there will be no manual gearbox option.
I know it looks boring compared to the old one, but the fact is that the old one didn't sell, and part of the reason for that was the wild styling. Not sure that Honda can really win here, given their relatively conservative customer base.

As a Honda fan that than has been waiting about 20 years for Honda to make another car that I would realistically consider buying... this is not inspiring. Similar silhouette to the current model, but greatly calmed down on the details. Not surprising they have taken this path - but it still isn't a looker.
I do hope for Honda's sake that somewhere in the world this car sells well. Because it doesn't look like a competitor in the European market. Wrong size and shape for the class.

Same here. I will reserve judgement until I know what the drivetrains are (hybrid for sure, but what torque/power) and until I see it in person, especially the interior. I know that Honda seemingly can't win. If they go wild then people complain, so then they go vanilla and people still complain. But I feel that this car just lacks character.
The closest competitor is the Corolla I guess. I see loads of them, including many saloons (loads of Uber drivers around here run Corolla saloons), so there is surely a market here.
