Buzzing for you all that are collecting this month
Collecting mine this morning Its raining hard / windy going to get caked underneath prior to having It protected!
Very excited nonetheless.
Nice, what are you having done to protect the undercarriage? Collecting mine this morning Its raining hard / windy going to get caked underneath prior to having It protected!

I was under the impression that with the use of galvanised steel on modern cars rust protection isn’t worth while.
Well I collected It... Wow I mean I really can't get over how beautiful It feels. It's really special and rides so smooth. I have only done 5 miles and all below 3k so I have zero to say about how it handles or performs.. But It feels quality the seats are amazing and the low driving position beats the GR out the park. I'm buying the seat lowering Kit for the GR soon.
I'm going to be using Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 Anti-Corrosion Wax just on various bits underneath. Its a clear drying coat so not unsightly like other underseals. Ceramic coating Paintwork and Supagard Fabric protection for the carpets etc.
I will be adding some pictures, I had to wash It as soon as I got back, It will sit now until I can get everything protected. I want to go driving so badly absolutely chuffed to bits so far.
And a my dealer friend told me that they won't be getting another one for another year at least.. They have even stopped production of the standard Civic due to parts supply.

and it's still there today, very good price indeed for what has to be one of the best colours on the Type R. I'm not surprised the 3 black ones are hanging about black just loses all the contrast of the aero bits.
Finally got my Carbon wing last week , just waiting for the carbon sill plates now to complete the carbon 'pack', I do like the look of it, though the original one had grown on me, the carbon one is flatter so does come into your vision a bit when looking in the mirror, but not badly. before and after:

Nice!
Picked up mine today, initial impressions, what a bit of kit, seems really well put together - it’s nicer place to sit compared to my 2018 C63. Great blend of old school and new school tech, I love the centre console is relatively uncluttered and the instruments and very well laid out and clear. I’ve not pushed it hard but it doesn’t feel turbocharged in comparison to my last AMG and M cars.
Fair bit of road noise to be expected. Steering is nice and direct with plenty of feedback. Shame it doesn’t have the Bose speakers but the standard will make do. I thought it was going to sound crap, but it’s not bad in Sport mode.
Looks much better in the flesh, not a car that photos that well.

Yeah nice one that carbon wing looks good, I do really like the standard one too, I fancy the carbon centre console trim.
Congrats JAMSXR Looks stunning I bet you can't wait to get the running in done. I've not driven mine since collecting it as the weather has been so awful..
Got one cheeky snap after a quick wash. I'll do more when it's all done

You need Dynax UC.
Agreed though very much worthwhile doing. Not in the same league but I did my Duster the day I brought it home brand new. All fixing and fastening underneath and in the wheel arches still look brand new after their first winter.

I’m pedantic, but when looking under my last few German cars, after 5 British winters, there wasn’t a spot of rust, even all the panel nuts and bolts were in good condition. Having said that, this stuff still interests my OCD You need Dynax UC.

I agree the black would have been the common colour but CW has overtaken that as It was always only JDM cars wasn't it? I had x3 Black EP3 Type R's stunning Nighthawk Black, I very nearly went for black, I would most definitely have chosen white If I didn't have the GR, but I'm really loving the Grey Its difficult to photo, Its much deeper/darker in the flesh.

Plenty of furry bits under that, mostly the Aluminium TBF but still corrosion.
Just picked my car up today from getting detailed and ppf frontal and lower sides package.
Car was in 1st UK allocation but remained with dealer over winter … albeit my timing was poor based on recent weather… DOH!
BTW mine is the car in red, the white is my brother’s

No way I could have left mine sat at the dealer! A bit of rain won’t hurt, it’s not a classic
