First Honda

Hey everybody, I'm getting close to actually being able to buy my first car. I have enough money to buy something half-way decent, and I've got my sights set on a non-Type R DC2 Integra. If there's anyone out there who can offer me advice on anything to especially look out for, any help would be much appreciated.

What sort of budget are you on?

I have a max of $13,000. I don't know what that is in pounds. I have seen DC2's for less than this, but if there are other (i.e better) options, I am open to all of them. Apart from a Holden.

$13K is £7K at the moment.
Have you checked out the likes of autotrader.com for Integras?
Just had a quick scout - there's plenty even limiting search criteria to 2000-2004 and $10K min-$14K max.

Thanks for your help. Insurance....I don't know. Thankfully I don't have to pay my excess, just the yearly deal. Hopefully it won't hurt the wallet TOO much. At least being a non-turbo I won't get the huge "P-plater on a turbo" insurance cost.
