Cracking looking car - Had the original when first out & felt only the 'H' badge hindered sales - hope Honda think long about this aspect before launch.

It looks better than the current and ugly model.

I think it looks stunning, but agree it will need more performance to come in at 65k or so.

I suspect they'll ruin it with too much technomajickery though. Whilst its laudable that the japanese can make very competent cars that any muppet can drive very quickly (until physics has its way and you end up with an incompetent driver in very deep shit), its not my idea of fun. I bet it will have a paddle shift gear change too

This is maybe a Japanese trait, but certainly not a Honda one. Honda make very different cars from Subaru and Mitsubishi.

My S2000 has 240bhp and the only nod towards nannyism are airbags (can't see the problem with these myself) and late acting abs (you need a real lock up to bring it in). Traction control isn't even an option.

The same for the now very dated NSX. Yes ABS, and yes traction control, but it is very selectable.

Unfortunatly, your thoughts about any numpty being able to drive these quickly are not supported by the large proportion of S2000's ending up in the hedge, and the group 20 insurance premiims . S2000's are set up like Elises (never driven an NSX in real anger) - absolutely fantastic as long as you keep your foot in .

Drove an NSX in anger on Friday. Lovely jubbly. Nicely balanced car although could really feel its mass versus my Elise. The owner new a trick to turn off the ABS too which was very useful.

Very tempted to get one, but its a tad slow for the money imho...

Good to Honda re-discovering there origins.lately they have been turning out some pretty ordinary car line ups/They seem to be pre- occupied with 4 door,4WD type people movers.Ditching the good old Prelude was a mistake I think

Yep, true shame . . .

Can't find a concept so it's really gone I think. Has nothing to do with NSX though . . .

I heard that Acura said it will have a V10, and AWD and cost between $120,000 and $150,000, i don't think the Honda would be much different

As A S2000 driver I fully understand the need for a drivers car but it ain't going to happen with any 'new' NSX -it will be full of driver aids for the US market.

Saying that, I think that if they can build a lightweight drivers car that looks like the concept pictures (haha great mirrors) and handles like a demon, they'll only need 350bhp to make it cool.

Lotus do it everyday.

I am sure it will be like the current one in the sense that they will make one for the masses and the R version for the drivers.

Honda should make two version of the new NSX. one the the US with tcs, acs, nbc, ayc, tnt, dor rae me, and one for the rest of the sensible world with LSD, 300+ bhp, MeRWD, brilliant handling and everything else that made the outgoing nsx great.
