I read somewhere that to get the KZ1 you need to invest in the resort, circa ~£200,000, then if you want a car you can have it, it's up to you. But that is the only way to own the car.

The circuit looks nice and the facilities sound top notch, however, I have a feeling this may be an elitest resort, and you'll pay for the privilege. Lets hope I'm wrong.

That Ascari is one of the best looking car's I've ever seen!!!
Unfortunatly 200.000,- Pound are a bit out of my reach!!!! Damn is that expensive!!

I have recently visited the Ascari Race Resort, driven on it & also met the owner & staff and have to say the whole place, the set up & the service is absolutely fantastic!!!

It is west of Malaga (not south, that would be in the sea...), just outside the town of Ronda. But don't look for any signs - there aren't any. And yes, this is a very exclusive club, (six figure membership fee). The only one like it in the world and everything is five star. Where else can you get to drive a number of different cars, including real F1 & Le Mans cars?! - after getting the appropriate, professional training. (Let me know if you're truly interested & I'll gladly help. I don't sell but know who to contact).

They also do one day events, for a very limited number of people at a time; everyone gets a personal trainer and get to try different cars & tracks.

The complex includes a long & complete 4x4 track as well as a buggy dirt track, (which could be the most thrilling of all).

EnjoyLife!

PS - The tree in the photo is next to where one starts to turn away from it and into the curve, not where you might crash into it if you actually skidded. The only "danger" at this spot is "missing" the pit lane turn off and just continue driving...

I visited the Ascari resort last year in August to look at the facilities with a view to exclusive hire.
Yeah the track is made up of some of the worlds best corners but 2 of the corners inparticular gave me concern. The reason being the block wall surronding these 2 corners, very similar to Rockingham style but only with a track width of approx 8 meters, at both corners two black rubber skid marks starting before the apex and ending up at the walls base ( "no run off here then" i commented).

The hotel at the time I visited was only a plan drawing but the hole in the ground had been dug.A small but pleasent club house style bar available for visitors along with the worlds smallest outdoor pool 14ft in length.

There are approx 8 double pits styled with marble tiled floors that house the New KZ1,BMW 320 Compact race cars,Track recovery trucks,Le Mans Sytle Racers,Formule Renaults and the Ex F1 chassis cars. The price at the time of my visit,to hire the track per day started at £2*,000 and ended after 2hrs of discussion at £*8,000.

The issue at the time of my visit was noise... a week or so before the Ex F1 cars had run at the resort only for complaints to be recieved some 30kms away. The track is built within a nature reserve in the mountains. With mountains on all sides this creates the noise to bounce off and to echo... opps

The resort staff informed me that the local authorities had placed a noise limit on them of 92dB THATS 92dB...u thought Goodwood and Bedford was bad..
Thus all the cars over this limit in the pits had huge expensive silencers in development on them to try to restrict there noise output...

For those of you wishing to visit its easily missed on the road, and all visitors need an appointment prior to arrival..

So Its not cheap to hire, theres no fuel on hand to fill your motors, membership was offered to me at £250,000 for 96 days use per year, and unless you drive a whisper motor forget the dream of the dream resort...
