This week I have a job interview. Essentially my first propper job interview as I've had a career in the army for the last 7ish years.

It's within rail engineering, what kind of preparation do I need to do. I've got the basic idea in my head, learning about the role, kit etc

Any advice, this is very much all new to me

Do some research on the company itself, and align your interview answers to the company's values as best you can.

Other than that just be yourself.

If you can try and have a conversation with the interviewer rather than a q&a session it will help build that initial impression of yourself.

For any questions related to situations try and use the STAR method to answer them;
