You are definitely NOT an ahole for not wanting to contribute to a leaving gift for this person.
A contribution to any leaving gift is entirely voluntary. As this person decided to continue working during the strike they have shown that they are quite willing to do whatever they want and not be afraid of what other employees think. Stick with your principles, the guy is a strike breaker and IMO deserves exactly what you choose to give them! I know what I would do!

For years at one of my previous employers. I'd chuck in a few quid for various people if I'd considered them work "mates" and not just colleagues.

When I left, there was no whip round for me.

I stopped bothering with them that day.
