People said the same about the E39 and the E60, but they're "classics" apparently now. And there's certainly not that much difference between the E60 and F10, having had both.

I could equally say the same about the 997.2 turbo S which I have just sold. Absolutely mental performance and into three figure speeds within a few seconds. A licence loser in any one's book, but still an epic car.
If i had a Turbo S, would never let go of it for an F10, prising the keys for it would have to be a fight. That much i'm certain of.

Currently own a heavily modified 996 Turbo, and a 65' plate F10 M5 comp pack.

Totally different ends of the scale. Turbo is a raw, low, sports car that is amazing fun, the handling/braking/acceleration are all pretty special. But it is tiring to drive, not that you would notice until you drive something like the M5.... Cruises along like a humdrum 530d, then turns into a pretty ferocious car when you put it all into sports mode.

For a 2 tonne car, it has a pretty incredible chassis, you can really hustle it along & have lots of back tyres killing fun doing so (current set of Pzeros dead after 4000 miles!)

If you are around the midlands I would be happy to take you for a spin
